Following a narrow victory over Port Adelaide, Hawks coach, Alastair Clarkson was spotted having another coffee with AFL Chief, Gillon McLachlan this morning.
“Just the eight 50s mate, is that the best you can do? We barely got over the line” Clarko was overheard saying.
“The umpires have to realise it’s a critical part of how we move the ball forward”.
Witnesses told Seems Legit that McLachlan was very apologetic during the meeting while slowly sipping at his humble single origin fair trade Ethiopian almond soy skinny wankaccino with extra foam and double no sugar.
The two then discussed Dane Rampe’s seemingly humorous sledge to an umpire about ‘having a coffee with Clarko too’.
“Obviously Dane will be getting a lengthy suspension for this type of egregious defiance” Clarkson informed the AFL’s alleged head decision maker.
“But he actually makes a good point. I think it might be best if you gather all the umpires together so I can address them directly and make sure they’re on the right track”.
Seems Legit attempted to contact the pair for comment, but neither were available due to a pressing schedule that involved them both attending an aerial yoga class, before riding a tandem bike along St Kilda beach and finishing with an afternoon of decadence at one of Melbourne’s finest day spas.
