Footy Fan Makes Up For Lack Of Wit With Increased Volume

A proud Collingwood member and self-acclaimed comedian, Brendan ‘Nads’ Mckenna has been ‘performing’ at Pies games for nearly 12 years now.

“I wanted to be one the guys who puts letters on the banners, but they said my spelling wasn’t good enough. They have bloody high standards ay”.

“Fortunately, I found another creative outlet; yelling stuff”.

Nads believes he’s come up with some absolute gems over the years.

“‘F*ck off umpire’ That’s one of mine.

‘“F *ck you umpire’ is actually a little bit similar but can be used in different situations.

‘“Have a bloody go’ and ‘just kick it looooong’ are other good ones that help educate the players on how to play football as well”.

Despite the disapproving looks and straight out abuse from what appears to be the vast majority of footy fans within earshot, Nads assures us that the crowd can’t get enough of his highly cerebral banter.

“The f*ckers f*cking love it ay” said Nads, something backed up by two close mates with a total of five teeth between them, who used several more magic words to encapsulate their fondness for Nads’ alleged comedic genius.

Understanding that artists are always looking for a new way to explore their creativity, we asked what the future holds for Nads.

“Well actually, Eddie McGuire and the Channel 9 execs reckon I’m producing just the sort of cutting edge comedy that would suit The Footy Show”.
